The Bois Afan Male Choir was founded in 1986 and specialises in singing a blend
of lighter music in English and Welsh. The Choir has travelled extensively over
the British Isles and Europe. The Choir tends to sing "Songs from the Shows"
and Welsh hymns and Folk songs which appeal to a wide range of musical tastes.
The Choir has at present 30 choristers who practise at the Waun Club in Cwmafan
every Tuesday night. The Choir has a very active Ladies Section who meet fortnightly
and help and support the Choir in it's busy schedule. The Choir is interested
in attracting not only new choristers but also an Assistant Musical Director
/ Accompanist who would initially assist the present M.D. and Accompanist in
fulfilling the Choir's many engagements.

Mixed Choir, around 40 in number, 12 men Tenor/Bass, 10 Alto, 17 Sopranos. The
Choir has been going since 1984, our present Conductor is Mr Roger Lewis from
Sketty, Swansea. We have an annual Christmas Concert each year in Kidwelly and
usually perform in charity concerts during the rest of the year. The Choir has
visited Germany twice, taken part in the 1,000 Voices Mixed Choir at the Royal
Albert Hall and sang with other choirs in recordings of 'Dechrau Canu, Dechrau
Canmol' for S4C. The Choir is made up of various ages from 40-70 years, we are
a happy, sociable crowd who enjoy our singing and take pride in our work.

singing for over 60 years and has an age range from 18-80+ We are a choir that

The Singleton Singers Choir was founded in 1984 by Hazel Gabriel and choristers
from two other Health Service choirs. Singleton Hospital - from which the choir
takes its name - is the main beneficiary and is presented with annual donations
of cash and equipment. Many other charities receive proceeds directly from fundraising
concerts. The choir also enjoys singing at weddings and other social events,
and has an extensive repertoire sung in seven different languages. New members
are always welcome and do not have to read music as help in learning songs is
given by the musical team.

This mixed choir has approximately 100 members and is noted for performing both
classical and modern works. The Choir was founded in 1959 by the late Haydn
James and now, under the baton of conductor, Clive John, performs 2 major concerts
each year. The Easter concert takes place in the Brangwyn Hall, Swansea and
the Christmas concert takes place in St Mary's Church, Swansea. The Choir is
usually augmented by a full orchestra and distinguished soloists. Our accompanist
is Susan Croall and the weekly rehearsals take place every Thursday evening
in Bishop Gore School, Swansea. We are always keen to find new new members -

Our aim is to promote the Christian Gospel through singing. Formed in 2006,
our music ranges from modern gospel to sacred. We sing in a variety of venues,
from OAP homes to Churches. We have sung at a St David's Day Concert in the
Brangwyn Hall, Swansea. We are also available for weddings and other events.
It is a non-denominational Choir consisting of ladies from a variety of Churches.
Our Musical Director is Alwyn Richards. There is an invitation to any committed
Christian ladies to join us. You'll be given a warm Christian welcome. We rehearse
every Thursday at Ebenezer Baptist, near High Street Station.
